Maxis and Apple, please be clear with your instructions on upgrading iPhone to OS3.0!! FYI, not everyone has done this before!
Thanks to your unclear and inaccurate steps provided, I have screwed up my dad's phone and all his SMSes are gone. Not only did I have a hard time finding the items that you mention in your thin little booklet, it's also misleading, lacking on precautionary measures and there is INSUFFICIENT FREAKING WARNING! Wait, I stand corrected, in fact there was ZERO WARNING on the adversities of it!

maxis should take up the upgrading service instead of asking the user to upgrade the phone themselves

go screw them.. i support you completely! everytime i call the hotline i'll for sure kick up a fuss..
sometimes, i think that maxis is run by a bunch of overgrown incompetent corporate dogs
